People's Bank and Trust Company of Pickett County was established in November 1978 and since that time has grown to over $95 million in total assets.  In April 1995 we relocated to our new main office facility on the square in Byrdstown.  In March 2006 our holding company, Upper Cumberland Bancshares, Inc., opened a sister bank in Albany, Kentucky.
